1) Kale

The Kale, in the vegetable world, is a huge source of vitamin A and is also rich in cancer fighting antioxidants. Studies have shown that only 1 cup of Kale has more Vitamin C than an orange.

2) Kimchi

Many will sneer at the inclusion of this Korean staple food in this list but this food item deserves a place as it has huge gastrointestinal benefits. Oatmeal has 4 grams of fiber per cup and recent studies have proved that if we increase our intake of soluble fiber by at least 10g per day then very soon the level of bad cholesterol or LDL cholesterol decreases by 5%. Make a habit of eating a breakfast that is full of ‘slow release’ carbohydrates. This food helps to burn fat quickly but you need to have this at least 3 hours late before Christmas.

There are some other food items like Elderberry, Curcumin and Kiwifruit but recent studies have revealed that curcumin is mainly found in SE Asia, South Asia and the Middle East. It helps to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and fights arthritic pain.
